PAINTING THE AMISH

In the spring of 2017, I received an Arts Council Award to stay with the Amish Community in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. I spent my time drawing, painting and keeping a journal, working alongside a number of Amish families to portray an intimate glimpse of a way of life that has essentially remained unchanged for 250 years.
